SOCCER FIXTURES.

GAMES FOR TO-MORROW.

COMRADES V. PONSONBY MATCH.

I XAVY TRIAL AS CURTAIN-RAISER. In view of the representative match between the Navy and Auckland on June 3, much interest attaches to the curtainraiser at Blandford Park to-morrow afternoon, when a team from the Leith will play the Dunedin eleven. It wae originally intended that the Leith should play the team from the\new sloop Wellington, but this has been altered. The Navy are determined to lower the colours of Auckland in the return match on the King's Birthday, and a trial game was played on Tuesday at Biandford Park, when a splcndid display of the code was the result. There i« a marked keenness between the different ships on the station to have representation in the Service team, and undoubtedly the game to-morrow will be well worth seeing. The 3 o'clock game will bring the unbeaten Ponsonby to meet Comrades. The latter almost created the sensation of the season last Saturday by defeating Shore at Devonport, winning at one stage by three goals, and ultimately dividing the points, and their appearance to-morrow is causing quite a deal of interest. Ponsonby did not work together last week in anything like impressive style. and must be on better behaviour to retain their present record. \ A fast and close game should result. North Shore and Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys meet on the school ground, and the struggle for points is sure to be an even one: Metro-College will play Y.M.C.A. on Western Springs, and Thistle will journey to St. Helier's to contest matters with Eastern Suburbs.
