TO-MORROW'S SENIOR GAMES. THRILLING CONTESTS EXPECTED. The fourth series of gamee in the fust round of the Auckland Hockey Association's senior competition set down for decision on Saturday should produce some brilliant hockey. The teams, generally, aro now settling down to solid team work. All eyes will be watching the form displayed by those players who have been selected for rep. training, and the chosen will surely give of their best. The big match of the day will be- staged on No. 2 ground at 3.5 p.m.,. when Grammar Old Boys will try conclusions with Somerville. and a thrilling contest should result. St. Luke's are scheduled to play Mount Eden on No. 1 ground at 1.50 p.m., and it will.be interesting to see if the latter have improved sufficiently to lower St. Luke's colours. University journey to Papatoetoo to meet the suburban teajn on their own ground, at 3 .p.m., and here again a fast open game should result. Harvey, of the Te Aroha Club, as goalkeeper for selection for the New Zealand hockey team to play the touring Indian team in the forthcoming Test matches. Harvey played as goalkeeper for I'lako in the match against the touring Australian team at Te Aroha last. season, when I'lako won by 2 goals to nil. This was the only match of the tour in which the Australians fulled to score, and much of the credit for this was due to Harvey In goal, who brought off several good saves. LADIES' ASSOCIATION. With a view to selecting n New Zealand ladies' hockey team to visit Australia in Silly, a representative trial match will be played at the Kcniuera crounds to-morrow, starling at 1">" p.m. The three New Zealand BeJeetors, Mr. Hamilton, of Southland.
