The Newton player, Quirke, ordered off for striking an opponent, was severely censured, hia previous good record being taken into consideration. Tho Eden Rugby Union Club advised that a player recently reinstated to Rugby League left the club owing a small subscription. The chairman said he viewed this in a serious light, as the player had stated lie was in order with Eden club. The League club which the player had joined was asked to have the player in attendance at next meeting. Dr. F. J. Gwynnd wrote thanking the board for appointment as honorary physician.

The Otahuhu Rovers advised that its secretary, Mr. L. W. Arnold, had signed, and Mr. M. Ritchie had been appointed. Applications relating to fixtures from the (ilea Ora and Maiiukau Clubs and the Pukemiro Club (South Auckland) were deferred until next week. With the approval of Dcvonport Club, the transfer of W. FORMED AT MOUNT ALBERT.

To inaugurate a supporters' club the Mount Albeit United Rugby League Club held a successful concert in the Kins George Hall last evening. Mr, A. C. Gallagher, president, expressed pleasure at the 'large attendance and enthusiasm for the club in the largest borough of New Zealand. Ho apologised for the absence of tlie Mayor, Mr. Raymond Ferner; who, however, had written assuring the club of the council's support and commending the community spirit which was being evinced. Mr. A. 8. Richards, M.P., and Mr. Grey Campbell also congratulated the members, the latter pointing out that supporters' clubs had done good work in Australia and England.

"Uncle Scrim" was wished bon voyage on his trip to Australia, and presented with a cushion worked in the club's colours. He spoke on the place of sport usefully employed. -U a call front the chairman-, nominations were received for the election of officers to the supporters' club, and the following were appointed: —Patron, Dr. J.
