REVISED DRAW FOR FIRST ROUND.

The draw for the first round of the Auckland Rugby Football Union's senior competition was published on April 30. Owing, however, to the reinstatement ot Grammar Schools' Old Boys and College Rifles to major status, and the promotion of Training College from junior to senior B, the fixtures have been revised. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The council of the New South Wales Rugby Union has decided upon a new interpretation of the law relating to knock-on. A motion, "That if a player unintentionally knocks on or fumbles tho ball and immediately gathers it in again before it touches the ground, it shall not be deemed a knock-on," was carried.
