HOCKEY.
INDIA V. NEW ZEAIiAND. THIRD TEST AT EDEX PARK. Advice was received from the New Zealand Association at last evening's meeting of the executive of the Auckland Hockey Association that final arrangements hail been made to stage the third Test match between New Zealand and the visiting Indian team at Eden Park on .7 uly 20.
The executive decided to forward a suggestion to the Xpw Zealand Association that arrangements be made for the Indian team to play a match against a representative country team, either at Thames or Pukekohe on July 22. Tfc was derided to nominate Mr. A. Williams n.s referee for the third Test match, and Messrs. 11. Watts and E. Hewitt for Auckland's match against the Indian team.
The Indians, who arrived at Wellington from Sydney yesterday, open their tour at Danneviikc to-morrow.
