Maxwell's handling of Kivnlli in the Sandringham Handicap at Warwick Farm on Saturday was concluded to-day, when the stewards decided to accept the rider's explanation. MELLION'S ADELAIDE CUP. ADELAIDE, May 0. The Adelaide Cup of £1300, one mile and five furlongs, run at Mornhotville today, resulted: —Motlion, 7.10 (Miles), 1; Sir Koseland. 8.2 (liromley), 2; Suporvalve, 7.8 (Flibbs), 3. Eighteen started. Won by a neck. Time, 2.13. The winner is a live-] year-old brown gciding by Trillion from Sealariuo. 11c is owned by Mr. C. U. Wood. The Hawthorn Handicap resulted: — ! Oppression was bred in New Zealand, being a three-year-old gelding by Lord Quex from Administration, and he is owned by Mr. E. E. Jolly,
