V.R.C. MEETING. ROYAL ARMOUR'S CUP. FAILURE OF MASTER BRIERLY VOITRE ANOTHER VICTORY. MELBOURNE, May C. Th«j Victoria Racing Club's Jubilee meeting at Flemington to-day was well attended. The principal race, the Silver Jubilee Cup, was won by Royal Armour. The order into the straight was Royal Armour, Break Up, Three Tips and Takakua, and tlierc was no alteration as they passed the post. Takakua was ridden by K. Voitre. The New Zealander, Master Brierly, on whom F. Dempsey had the mount, finished eighth. It occasioned no surprise when Master Briefly was last to turn for home, but he lacked the powerful finishing run which characterised his recent Sydney successes. Voitre won the Gloucester Handicap on Valiant Chief. Results: — EMPIRE HURDLES of £600. Two miles. LULL CHARGE. b g. uyrs, bv Thraelan —Lancette (Mr. 11. p.
