INDIANS IN AUSTRALIA. SYDNEY, May 6. The Indian hockey team, which la en route to New Zealand, easily defeated a metropolitan team to-day. The score was 11—4.
DOMINION ITINERARY.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) C'HRISTCHURCH, this day. The New Zealand Hockey Association received applications for matches with the Indian team from the Wairarapa and Feildinu Associations, but as the Granting of the applications would entail the team playing four matches in a wec<k the applications were declined. An application for a-match at Otaki against Horowlienua was granted, as the match would not entail any hardship on the visiting team. Selectors for' the New Zealand team asked the association to request district associations to forward nominations for the Test matches as soon as possible.
