Miss B. Knight, divisional commissioner, presided over a ftieeting of combined girl guide committees at which Mrs. Coats, provincial commissioner, and Mrs. McCoomb, commissioner for Manukau, and 47 committee members, were present. Mrs. Coats read a letter from Lady Baden-Powell saying how much she had enjoyed her visit to New Zealand, and how wonderful the rally had been. Mrs. Coats went on to say that the rally had been a great success and a credit to the movement, but unfortunately not a financial success. About 500 lunches and 73 teas were provided free gratis to country guides attending rally, and many were extended to the various committees and members who worked to this end. To raise further funds it was decided to hold an antique exhibition, and to take advantage of the offer of Mr. and Mrs. Champion (who are at present in Australia) to organise an exhibition in Auckland about September. Mrs. Coats gave an interesting report of her stay with the guiders camped at Henderson Valley for camp training. Reports were read from the following districts: Ponsonby, St. Stephens, Tnhutimai. Cavell. Epiphany and Papti toetoe. Regrets were expressed at the resignation of Miss Roberton as commissioner for Ponsonbv. Three new members were enrolled, and rlie calling of the roll brought the rreeting to an end.
