The explanatory talks on the pictures in the 54th annual exhibition of the Auckland Society of Arts are proving most popular. Mr. A. C. Hipwell has conducted the lecture* so far. To-mor-row evening at 7.30 Mr. J. W. Shaw will give a talk. On Thursday Mr. Hipwell will again lecture, while in the evening Dr. R. P. Ansehutz will be in charge. On Friday the lecturers will be M.\ Ilip well at 1 .'iO, Hiss A.. 11 Dawson at 3.45, and. Dr. JiL li. Cjuiso.a at 7.30.
