"STAB," ARRANGEMENTS,
In accordance with its usual practice, tho "Star" will to-morrow night display on a hoarding attached to the Shortland Street frontage of its. premises tho results of the polls. Detailed progress returns for the City Mayoralty will be posted as they como to hand from the Town Hall, but in the case of the elected suburban mayors and tho elected members of the Hospital, Transport and Harbour Boards tho names only will appear. At hourly intervals tho names of the leading city councillors will be displayed. Supplementing this service will be a running commentary by means of a loud-speaker, through which detailed figures of all the contests will be announced, from time to time, together with the results of the mayoral contests in the Southern centres as they coino to l&and, • • /_
