TROTTING.

EPSOM TRACK.

LITTLE FAST WORK DONE

HOMEWARD IN GOOD ORDER

There was very little doing at Epsom thiH morning owing to the heavy track, most of the trainers allotting their charges plenty of solid jogging work on the sand track.

Homeward was worked over several circuits in saddle, and the bay marc infused a lot of dash into Tier effort. Homeward lias never been in better condition than at present, and she will strip n very tit mare for her engagements at Cambridge on Saturday.

Nimbus was sent a mile and a half on tlio sand track in company with Silver Bullet and Nelson's Glory. Nimbus was not asked for speed in .the early stages of his task, but when sprinted over the last half-mile finished on in great style.

0. G. Lee gave Audo Patch plenty of serviceable work on the sand, but the trotter did not appear to appreciate the heavy track. Audo Patch is to leave for Cambridge to-morrow, but Lee is not taking Min Bells or l'arrish Belle.

Cherrill pleased by the manner in which she accomplished her work on the cinders, the three-year-old staying on very golidly at the end of her task. Cherrill, who is to leave for Cambridge to-morrow, should have good prospects in her engagements.
