ONE TREE HILL BOROUGH.
The One Tree Hill Borough Council met last night, Mr. J. I. Goldstine presiding. Erection of Factory—With reference to an application for permission to erect a "garden" type of factory, which had been deferred from the preceding meeting of the council, it was reported that the proposal had been discussed with ratepayers, who had not favoured the application, and the council decided to decline it. Estimates.—The town clerk reported that he would present a copy of the estimates for the council's approval at a special meeting to be held on May 8, . Building.—Nine building permits to the value of £12,901 13/ have been issued since April 5. this making a total of 32 building permits, valued at £26,716 13/ since the beginning of the year.
