EFFECT OF POSTPONEMENT.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)

DUNEDIN, this day.

With the postponement of the Forbury'trots till Saturday and Monday owing to rain this morning, Dunedin will now have two meetings on Monday —the Dunedin Jockey Club's races at Wingatui and the trots at Forbury, a clash which will mean a loss for "one or other on that day, and most likelv for the Jockey Club, seeing that Forbury Park is handy to the town and more likely to draw the crowd. There was trouble originally between the two clubs over the dates, both wanting the holiday, and now the Forbury Park Club lias gained what it wanted—Monday.as one of its days. Racing Club Protests.
