WEATHER FORECAST.

FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton:— Strong west to south-west winds, with the weather cold and changeable and rain at times; seas rough to very rough on the west coast and rough on east. A deep depression crossed the Dominion last night, and an anti-cyclone :a now approaching from the west. HAURAKI GUIiF CONDITIONS. The following report or weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day: — Wind, south-west, light; sea moderate'; weather, overcast and showery; visibility fair; barometer steady.
