SWIMMING.
NORTH SHORE CLUB. FINAL CARNIVAL OF SEASON. HANDICAPS FOR TO-MORROW NIGHT. The final swimming carnival of the year will take placc at the Tepid Baths tomorrow night, when the North Shore Club's champion girl swimmer will be making her last appearance in Auckland. Edna Rainey, the New Zealand sprint title-holder, leaves early in May for Hastings, where her father, Mr. James Rainey, is going into business.
Other attractions will bo the 6GO 2-3 yards relay championship for teams of 20, the final contest for the Tommy Lowe Memorial Shield. Another inter-club event will be a 200 yards relay, each team consisting of one man, one lady, one intermediate boy, one intermediate girl, one junior boy and one junior girl. Two 133 1-3 yards tennis clubs' relays will also be decided, one for men, the other for ladies. The supporting events comprise the 33 1-3 yards North Shore backstroke championship and the following handicaps:—33 1-3 yards tiny tot boys, 33 1-3 yards tiny tot girls, 50 yards junior boys, 50 yards junior £rirls, 50 yards intermediate boys, 50 yards intermediate girl*, 50 yards men's novice, 100 yards ladies (Fuller Cup), 100 yards men, 220 yards breaststroke.
