APPEAL LODGED.
WHANGAREI DISQUALIFICATION
The jockey O. W. Mclnally has lodged an appeal with the Auckland District Committee against the six months' disqualification imposed upon him by the judicial committee of the Whangarei Racing Club. Mclnally rode Gay Cockade, who finished third in the Ruatangata Handicap at Whangarei on April 13, and the disqualification was imposed pn the ground that the horse was not run on his merits. The appeal will be heard by tl.B District Committee to-morrow evening. ~ - . 1 •. ' 1 v I
