team nomination increase. WAIUKU IN SENIOR B GRADE. The Junior Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby League, with Mr. D. Wilkio presiding, last evening dealt with nominations for the season to commence on May 4. The secretary, Mr. W. F. Clarke, reported that seven extra teams would participate, making a total of ti3, apart from primary school teams. The chairman said the increase was gratifying and he felt sure that the junior grades would play an important part in the successful year ahead.
It was reported that there would be six teams in the senior B grade—Papatoetoe, Otahuhu, lillerslie, l'oint Chevalier, Richmond aiid Wuiuku. The last-men-tioned club is a new country district team and Richmond is a fresh city side. The grade will occupy two rounds. Mr. Wilkie reported on the A.R.L. proposals for the senior B and said that Mr. Gr. Grey Campbell would meet the club delegates on Tuesday evening to further explain requirements. Nominations in other grades accepted arc: —Senior grade 8, third 16 (to be played in two sections), fourth 11, fifth 10, sixth 8 and seventh 4. The seventh grade will be played in three rounds; all others two rounds.
In the third grade the winners of cach section are to play three matches to decide the championship, one match each at home and the final on a neutral ground.
Weighing-in 1 committees were formed to officiate at I'apakura and Otahuhu, weighin to proceed nightly at the League rooms in Courthouse Lane, except An/.ac Lay.
Transfer granted: Iv. F. Neale, Akarana to I'onsonby thirds. An application for rcgrade for a senior B player to fourth grade was refused.
