Mr. John Fuller arrived from the South by train this morning. Mr. John Barr, city librarian, left for Wellington by the Limited last night. Mr and Mrs. J. W. Tattersfkld left for England by the Rangitane this
morning. Sir Donald aiul Lady McGavm sailed for England by the Rangitane this morning. Mr. J. IT- E- Hamel lias been appointed president of the Dunedin Savings Bank trustees. Mr. and Mrs. R. Vestey and Mr. W. H. Yestey left by the Rangitane for London this morning, after a tour of the Dominion. Mr. J. S. Scott, manager of the Invercargill branch of the Government 1 onri>t Bureau, has been transferred to the Auckland ofiice. Colonel W. B. Du Fre, leader of tho British croquet team which has been touring New Zealand, left for England by the Rangitane this morning. Mr. Robert Boulter, C.M.G., His Majesty's Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, sailed by the Rangitane this morning for England, where he will spend his leave. Mr. Ernest Davis, of Auckland, and ilr. T. G. Symonds (managing director of Messrs. George Court and Sons, Ltd.) have been elected vice-presidents of the Auckland Rugby League. Captain E. R. Drummond, M.V.0., R.N.. who has been appointed first naval member of the New Zealand Naval Board and commodore commanding th-j New Zealand station, is a passenger by the Mataroa, which is due at Auckland on April 24 from London.
