YOUTH'S FORGERIES.
EIGHT CHARGES ADMITTED. CHEQUE- FORMS STOLEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, this day. Ei»ht charges of forgery and uttering invofvintr £31 were admitted by a boy of 16 in the Child Welfare Court tins morning. , , - •'. The police explained that the boy had stolen 10 cheque forms from his employer, eight of which were filled in over 'the forged signature of his employer and cashed with various trades people. T\yo forms were still missing-. The magistrate remarked that he was surprised the bank passed the cheques, as the forged signatures bore no resemblance- to the original. Accused was ordered to come up for sentence if called on within-two years, and placed under the care of the child welfare officer for that terra.
