JAN KIEPURA'S NEW FILM.

"THE COUNT OF LUXEMBOURG." Cabled advice has just been received by Mr. S. H. Craig, general manager for Paramount Pictures in New Zealand, to the effect that Jan Kiepura's first Hollywood picture will be "The Count of .Luxembourg." Mr. John W. Hicks, jun., the company's vice-president in New York, indicated in his cable that no effort would be spared to make the picture the most outstanding musical comedy in years. Magnificent settings, prominent musical numbers and a splendid cast will be given to Kiepura's new picture, which will go into production next month. Jan Kiepura was recently signed to a long-term contract and is expected to arrive shortly in Hollywood for the first of his musical films under his new agreement. This comes as a direct result of the success of the two extremely popular British films, "Tell Me To-night" and "My Song For You." He starred previously in a moderately successful English musical picture, "City of Song."
