HAYES CUP CHALLENGE.
Dargaville successfully withstood a challenge from the Kensington Bowling Club for possession of the Hayes Cup. McMath nnd C. Everitt (Kensington) drew with H.vland and Grevill, 14 nil : Fred Cliffe and Mnyton (Kensington) lost to PeltO nnd Davey by 7 points on the aggregate, this enabling Dnrgnvllle to retain the cup by that margin.
