RUGBY FOOTBALL.
TAIHAPE SUB-UNION. At the annual meeting of the Taihape Rugby Sub-Union the balance-sheet showed a loss on the season's working of £ 10. Gates showed n decrease of £55 on the 1933 season takings, the largest gate of the season of £27 going to the injured players' fund. The union's cash In hand now stands at £95. Officials elected :—Patron, Mr. A. K. Overtoil; president, Mr. J. Quirk (reelected); vice-presidents, Messrs. L. A. Hebberd, A. M. Kyan, Jos. Webb; secretary, Mr. C. L. Mullany; treasurer, Mr. R. Scliofiekl ; management committee, Messrs. W. O'Connor. H. D. Bond, W. Pine; auditor, Mr. J. Graham ; delegates to Wnnganui Union, Messrs. J. Quirk and A. M. Ryan; selectors, senior, Mr. C. L. Mullany, junior, Messrs. L. A. Hebberd, R. Dean and S. J. McDonnell.
