RACING APPEAL.
INCIDENT AT PAEROA. ACTION BY FLEETWIND'S OWNER. An appeal has been lodged with the secretary of the. Auckland District Committee of the New Zealan I Bating Conference, Mr. W. S. Spence, by Mr. J. McGregor, owner of Flestwind, against the decision of the judicial committee, of the Ohinemuri Jockey Club in connection with alleged interference to Fleetwind by Johnnie Walls in the Karangahake Handicap last Saturday. Johnnie Walls beat Fleetwind by a head, and an inquiry was held into tlie alleged interference, but the judicial committee decided that it wae insufficient to justify them in reversing the placings. The appeal will be heard on Tuesday, April 2.
