DUKE'S HOMECOMING.
To be Welcomed on Arrival at Portsmouth. MET EY TWO BROTHERS. ' (British Official Wireless.) (Received 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, March 22. The Duke of Gloucester will return from his tour of Australia, New Zealand and the West Indies on Thursday. The cruiser H.M.A.S. Australia is expected to arrive at Spithead at 11 o'clock in the morning- and will be escorted into Portsmouth -Harbour by four destroyers and five flying boats. The Prince of Wales and the Duke of York, who are proceeding to Portsmouth specially to meet their brother, will go on board as soon as the Australia is berthed, and Royal salutes will be fired.
On leaving the shin the Duke will be officially welcomed home by the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire and the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth. After a civic presentation of an address of welcome. Their Royal Highnesses will leave for London bv train.
