AIRMAN TURNS BACK.
TIMOR SEA IN UGLY MOOD. (Received 10.30 a.m.) DARWIN, this day. Mr. H. L. Brook, the Centenary air race competitor, took off yesterday on an attempt to lower the Australia-Eng-land record, but turned back owing to Storms and dense clouds over the Timor Sea.
