WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE.
The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton: — Freshening / north-easterly winds, reaching gale force in places. Weather cloudy to overcast, and misty, and general rain probable. Temperatures warm, seas rough on west coast, moderate to rather rough on east coast. An anti-cyclone is now located east of Xew Zealand. A depression is centred west of Norfolk Island, moving southwards.
