WEATHER FORECAST.
FOB CITY AND PROVINCE.
The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star " this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Taurnnga, Kawhia and Hamilton:—
Moderate but increasing winds, weather cloudy to overcast with rain in places, seas rather rough.
An intense anti-cyclone still covers the Dominion, the centre being over the South Island. i Pressure is falling at Xorfolk Island with the approach of a depression from the north.
HAURAKI GUIJE , CONDITIONS.
The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, easterly, moderate; sea, smooth; weather, fine and clear; visibility gopdj barometer steady.
