Mr. V. J. Larner left for Wellington by the Limited last night.
• Mr. Julius Hogben was a passenger for Wellington by the Limited last night.
Mr. H. H. Watkins, secretary-engineer to the Auckland Suburban Drainage Board, left last night for Wellington.
Mr. A. E. Marshall, of Wellington, manager of the Pepsodent Company, New Zealand, Limited, is at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. W. D. Gorham, secretary of the Wellington Woolbrokers' Association, has retired after 25 years' service, and will be succeeded by Mr. F. H. Mullins.
Mr. T. R. Congalton, town clerk of Mount Albert, was given leave last night to attend the annual meeting of the New Zealand Institute of Town Clerks in Christchurch this month.
Mr Harry Thurston, the English comedian, who is touring the Dominion under contract to the New Zealand Broadcasting Board, leaves this evening for Wellington to broadcast his recitals over 2YA. The Mayor of Mount Albert, Mr. l v Ferner, and Mr. F. E. Martin, were appointed delegates to the annual conference of the Municipal Association of New Zealand at Christchurch t us month by the Mount Albert Borough Council last night.
