U.S. MINISTER AND SENATOR
WASHINGTON, March 5
The Postmaster-General, Mr. James A. Farley, has issued a lengthy statement branding Senator H. P. Long's charges of liis having been connected with the placing of a 6,250,000-dnllar building contract as "untrue, false, ridiculous and baseless." He said he welcomed, all investigation. Mr. Long continues almost daily in the Senate to attack Mr. Farley and the Government, which he alleges is attempting to "whitewash"' his charges of graft.
