(Received 10.30 a.m.)
SYDNEY, this day.
Three men were killed in motor accidents when returning from Kembla Grange races yesterday. Messrs. Peter White, aged 26, and Alexander Williams, aged 34, were killed when a car, of which they were the only occupants, crashed into the side of a cutting on a road approaching Sydney.
A promising young jockey, Jack Crowley, was killed in a collision between a car in which he was a passenger and a taxi. Three other passengers in the same car as Crowley were injured.
Messrs. White and Williams were well-known bookmakers. The former was also a former racing car driver.
