SUCCESSFUL SEASON.
Japanese Whaling Venture In Antarctic Waters. RETURN NEXT YEAR. (Received 10 a.m.) FREMANTLE, this day. Japanese whaling vessels, which have been on an experimental expedition in Antarctic waters, called here for supplies 011 the homeward journey. Tt is reported that the expedition is so satisfactory that a larger fleet will operate next season. A number of Norwegians accompanied the experimental expedition, which has so benefited from their advice that it is intended that next season's crews will he purely Japanese.
