POSSIBLE CANDIDATES. (From Our Ov.n Correspondent.) TE KUITI, Tuesday. "Rcqui^itirrna are now being circulated mid signed in various parts of (ho Waitomo electorate requesting Mr. W. J. Penniket, M.A., of Hamilton, to contest the Waitomo scat at the general election. A meeting of electorate delegates held at the week-end at Tc Kuiti (leaded to ask Mr. Penniket to accept nomination in the interests of the Douglas Credit movement and the Country party. Mr. Penniket is well known throughout the electorate, which lie has stumped in the interests or' the Douglas Credit movement for the past (wo yeura. Should he consent to stand (here will be three candidates. Mr, W. J. Broadfoot, M.P., will he the official Coalition Government standard-bearer; Mr. ".Tacky" .Tones, of Waimihn, the official nominee, of the New Zealand Labour party; and Mr. Penniket.
