Alfred Buckland and Sons, Ltd. Beef.—We yarded fat cattle to the number of 2.53 head, against 236 head last week, comprising 62 steers and 191 cows and heifers. There was a keen demand throughout the sale of ox beef, and values remained firm at late quotations. Cows and heifers were yarded in large numbers, but competition was less keen, with the result that prices eased considerably on last week's sale.
