WANGANELLA SAILS.
Dispute With Stewards Soon Settled. UNION MEETING DECISION. (Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. A settlement of the Wanganella dispute has been reached, and the vessel sailed at 9.5 o'clock last night for Auckland. At a meeting of stewards it was decided to return to duty, as their secretary was reported to have secured certain advantages for them. It was stated that other questions in dispute would be settled during the absence of the ship. The cargo steamer James Cook, boiind for New Zealand, which was held up at Melbourne owing to the seamen demanding additional trimmers, has sailed for the Dominion, as the men subsequently decided to man the ship.
