CAMBRIDGE STOCK SALE.
•The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Hamilton, report as follows on their usual stock sale held at Cambridge:—The yarding consisted of a small entry of fat lambs'and a few store lambs, on which competition was keen. Cattle were yarded in average numbers, no good beef being penned, lluling rates at other centres were obtained. Pigs were also yarded in medium numbers and consisted mainly of an ordinary entry of pork and a good showing of store and weaner pigs. Competition on pork was good but other classes were not strongly sought after. We quote:—Fat lambs, 19/ to 22/; store lambs, 11/6 to 13/9; cull ewes, 9/9 to 10/11; two-shear Romney rams, 3gs to 4gs; others, VAgs to 2%gs; medium fat cows and killable heifers, £2 10/ to £3: store cows, £1 5/ to £1 15/; boners, 10/ to £1 2/6; bulls, 15/ to £2; calved dairy heifers, to £3 15/; medium porkers, 38/ to £2 3/; light, 27/ to 35/; best stores, 20/ to 25/; others, 16/6 to 19/6; best weaners, 7/ to 10/; others, 4/ to 7/; Tamworth boars, lMigs to 2 1 /igs.
