WINDOW DISPLAY CONTEST
AVON BY AUCKiANDER. The first prize a I'd gild medal in the Merchandisers' window display contest, organised in New York, has been won by MiM V. Biigrie, of the Auckland staff of Woolworth's (New Zealand), Ltd. There were contestants from all parts of the world. The window display was arranged by Miss Bjigrie for the firm's former premises in Queen Street, and a photograph of it was sent on for the contest. This is held annually in New York, and attracts competition from all parts of the world. The nine other prize-winners were all Americans.
