POPULAR GYMKHANA.
RESULTS OF CONTESTS. The gymkh; j .na in the evening attracted a large number of people. The varied programme included horse competitions, steer riding, athletics and Highland dancing. The Mount Eden Boys' Band, St. Andrew's Pipe Band and Auckland Girls' Band played during the evening. The contest results were:— 100 Yards Handicap.—First heat: N. Funnel!, oyds, 1 ; R.
