NOISY MOTOR CAR.
DRIVER PROSECUTED.
SEQUEL TO COMPLAINTS.
I Numerous complaints having been received by the Onehunga police that a motor car was continuously being driven on the public highway with an insufficient silencer, and therefore becoming a nuisance, especially at night, a constable was set to watch. As the result Cecil Sutherland was charged at the Onehunga Police Court this morning with driving a motor car with an insufficient silencer.
He pleaded guilty and said the defect had since been remedied.
Sergeant S. A. Brown said Suther land drove a racing car. He was fined 10/ and costs.
