WESTFIELD SALES.
FAT STOCK MARKET.
PRICES REMAIN FIRM. GOOD AI/L-ROUND YARDING. There was a large yarding of cattle at the Wcstfield fat stock sales to-day and bidding was particularly keen. The quality of beef was high-class, and prices remained firm at last week's rates. Top price of the morning, £10 17/6, was realised for a line from Waerenga, this representing an increase on recent sales. There was an average yarding of cows and heifers, and prices were well maintained.
