There was a smaller yarding than usual at Messrs. Alfred Buckland and Sons' Pukekohe horse sale. Competition was not as keen as at. the last sale, while harness horses and hacks were dull of 6ale. One medium draught gelding realised £35; useful farm horses, suitable for all work, made from £21 10/ to £27 10/; light farm horses, £12 to £18; hacks, £5 13/ to £0 15/; no unbroken horses were offered.
