CYCLIST IN HOSPITAL.

TAUMARUNUI COLLISION.

CAR OCCUPANTS INJURED. (By Telegraph. —Own Correspondent.) TAUMABUXUI, this day. A car driven by Mr. George Thomas McGovem, of Wanganui, collided with a bicycle ridden by Mr. James David on the main highway near the saleyards corner on Saturday evening. Mr. Davis had with him on the front of the cycle his brothel's child, and when the car collided with the bicycle rider and child were thrown heavily on the asphalt road. Mr. Davits suffered serious injuries to his leg and was removed to the Public Hospital. The child eiscaped injury. Mr. McGovern and the other occupants of the car, Miss Hannah Gay and Leslie Cooper, of wanganui, all suffered from cuts which were caused by flying glues from the car.
