TIMBER TRADE BOOM.
TOKAANU WORK FtTUCi TIME. (By Telegrapli. —Own Correspondent.* WA.VGAXUI, this day. Advice received from Tokaanu states that there appears to be a boom in the timber trade, and all mills arc * orkii g full time to fulfil orders. A small consignment of matai was recently forwarded to England to .be tested as to its suitability for ships' furniture and interior decoration. Tf suitable, further orders are anticipated.
