Australian Flyer Weds Dead Foeman's Fiancee. SHOT DOWN IN AIR BATTLE. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, February 3. , The "People" states that an Australian Air Force officer, Captain Robert Larkin, is proceeding to Australia to-morrow from Dusseldorf t after marrying Fraulein Edda Ritzau. Captain Larkin during the war brought down a German airman, Karl Niebuhr. He tried in vain to trace the next-of-kin in order to restore the effects of his dead foeman, but eventually he located Fraulein Ritzau and handed over photographs and other articles found on the body of Niebuhr, who was her fiance. A friendship sprang up between Captain Larkin and Fraulein Ritzau and she consented to marry the Australian, he having fallen in love from a photograph.
