Arrangements for Religious
Celebration
GREAT EMPIRE SERVICE. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, February 3. The religious celebrations in connection with the King's jubilee-include a oreat Empire service in Canterbury Cathedral on June 15, at which the Dominion Prune Ministers will be present. A feature of the service will be the dedication of Canterbury crosses, carried out in stone from the Cathedral, for the chief cathedrals throughout the Empire. Many religious organisations, including missionary societies, will participate in the jubilee service or thanksgiving and intercession in the Albert Hall on May 3 for which the Bishop of Norwich, Dr. Bertram Pollok, has prepared a prayer which will be spoken throughout the Empire. A British official wireless message states that the presentation of loyal addresses of congratulation from both Houses of Parliament to the King will be one of the many interesting functions in connection with the Royal jubilee in which His Majesty will take part.
