SALVATION ARMY.
WELCOME! IN THE WAIKATO. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) , HAMILTON, Friday. Commissioner S. Adams, the r.e.w head of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, with his wife and daughter, were given an enthusiastic reception at the local Citadel last night. Officers and members from many parts of the Waikato attended. The town's welcome was conveyed bv the Mayor, Mr. J. R. Fow. When" interviewed later, Commissioner Adams intimated his desire to extend the work of the Army to backbloek areas in the Waikato and' Bay of Plenty. He is planning' to make contact with all Army centres in both islands during the next 12 months.
