LARGER MEMBERSHIP.
COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS.
IMPROVED FINANCIAL POSITION
An increase in membership of 13 and an improved financial position were shown in the animal balance sheet and report adopted at the 33rd. annual meeting of the Auckland Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen's Association meeting last evening. Thetotal membership is now 753. The report stated that during the year £515 had been donated to the blind soldiers' and sailor's fund, and blind soldiers and the dependents had been assisted to the extent of £397. During the year 111 new books had been added to the library. The president, Mr. W. H. Prentis, made feeling reference to the death of Mr. R. S. Robertson, who was a member of the committee, and those present passed a motion of sympathy with the relatives in their loss. The following officers were elected: — President, Mr. C. J. W. Taylor; vicepresidents. Messrs. T. Dickson, A. H. Flatt, S. C. Holdsworth and W. M. Ingram; honorary treasurer, Mr. T. Farrcll: auditor, Mr. G. Fleming; committee, Messrs. C. C. Bach, J. Ballantvne, R. A. Burlinson, H. Hunt, T. C. Peek, J. J. Smyth, H. G. Watts, W. Wiseman and S. A. Whyte (travellers), and Messrs. T. Brown, J. Browning, H. Bull, A. M. Doull, G. Forsythe, H. P. Ibbertson, P. C. Muir, and R. G. Stichbury (warehousemen).
