S.P.C.A. ACTIVITIES.
At a meeting of the executive committee of the S.I'.C.A., Mr. A. G. Frankham presided. There was a full attendance of executive officers. The report on the activities of the society was satisfactory.
The inspector s report showed that the work for the month had been heavy, and it was agreed that if the main object of the society, prevention of cruelty, was to be attained, the services of a seconu inspector were urgently needed. The committee regretted that the present depleted state of the finances was hampering the work. The president, Mrs. M. Arthur, was elected convenor of the ladies' committee, and, with the assistance of Mrs. M. Marquet, will plan activities for the coming
