OBITUARY.
SIR HENRY IRVING'S WIDOW,
LONDON, January 13
The death has occurred of Lady Florence Irving, widow of the famous actor, the late Sir Henry Irving, aged 91. She and her husband were separated after two and half years and she had lived with a companion at Folkestone for 40 years. Lady Irving placed a wreath of red roses on her husband's grave in Westminster Abbey on every anniversary of his death. AGED CLERGYMAN. OLDEST IN AUSTRALIA.
(Received 12 noon.) HOB ART, this day. The death has occurred of the Rev. Charles Frederick Loste, the oldest clergyman in Australia and possibly in the world. He retired from active ministerial work 20 years ago. He was a bachelor, and was of French descent. Less than a week ago he celebrated his 100 th birthday.
