FLIGHT TO AFRICA.
COMET ON RETURN JOURNEY. CAPETOWN, December 27. Mr. Ken Waller and Captain Francliommc, who flew in Mr. Waller's de Havilland Comet 'plane from England to Lcopoklville, Belgian Congo, in 51 hours, have left on the return flight to Brussels. The airmen flew to Niamey, ill French West Africa, at an average speed of 105 miles an hour in spite of slight trouble with the port engine, which they righted. They resumed their journey later, and arrived at Oran, Algeria, having averaged IGO.m.p.h. for 9J hours.
